I was thinking about playing this with my wife. We both are on the same LAN, and I was wondering if that would be alright, or would it trigger a multi-play foul?

Emailing an immortal and telling us about it in advance is a good practice. As long as you and your wife talk to each other in the game instead of relying on out of game conversation, you should avoid any problem.

That won't be any problem. We'll be playing with friends who live in the states, so the only way to talk to them will be in-game. May as well make it all in-game chatter.
Who should I email exactly, and where can I get their email address?

Yeah, I was actually worried about the same thing when my wife started playing. I don't know enough about our set up to know if the game receives our IP to know if you get our separate ones, or our router's IP. Good to know I SHOULD have e-mailed.

On a related note, an IMM (who shall remain nameless) thought it would be funny to scare the hell out of me and asked me if I wanted my or my wife's characters to get deleted or take a three level curse. Yeah, I fell for it and started trying to desperately explain. :oops:

No, I started to explain that we are totally different people and I can prove it and the IMM said something that clued me in, and as soon as that happened, the IMM laughed at me.
