I feel like I have answered this exact question several times this year. Why shouldn't you be able to do it? Because even though it's a 1-handed crossbow, it still takes a second hand to reload. |

I think it's a subtle hint from people to just allow it. If the D3 Demon Hunter can do it... This is also why I think you should allow Swashbucklers to do dual hand crossbows, and allow it in melee too. I mean, seriously. How COOL would that be? Forget realism for a while. See: rule of cool |

You actually used to be able to do this (wield a weapon and a hand crossbow). I didn't know you couldn't anymore, but I can guess it's because somebody started a thread like this one. |

I'm not sure if you can right now or not. I don't even mind if you can, but you shouldn't be able to reload while doing so. |
