Hows about we make it a toggle? I understand that some find it helpful to avoid fighting people by accident, but personally, I've never had the problem and if I suddenly found myself having it I could start having the toggle on when I'm in town or socializing. But as it is, I am just finding it incredibly annoying, I spent half an hour today trying to figure out why my pet couldn't attack someone, I convinced a priest to cure blindness, I wore a set of glowing stuff - and then I finally figured out it was because I had to type out the whole 'kill' - hrmf... I have a Z-mud alias for my ordinary killing (k -> kill), but it just doesn't cut it for when I make aliases in the mud, or when I control pets or such. |

Use h(it) instead of k. It won't take more than 10 mins to get used to this. And you can always alias k h &1. |

I changed 'k' to 'kill' in Zmud within 45 seconds of seeing this change. You should too. |

My zMUD is set up with aliases to remind me to use kil at least to do kill. Best answer. The old l or k typo has got me in trouble before, aliases fixed that. |
