Sure you're only a retired troll, Baldric?

I only ran into Nwelltheron once. Always sorta wondered where he hung out and what he did - guess we just never crossed.

It is true that I didn't do too much with this character. Especially compared to Aelraen and Feanor. I just enjoyed not being in a faction, as well as not hunting or being hunted by anyone. His real focus, when I had the time, was the religion.

Nweltheron's been around since Sakamoto was . . . it's not like he was a new character and Baldy had to be playing in the last few weeks.

While that may be true, a more accurate interpretation of what I posted (one that assumes that it wasn't senselessly idiotic, always a dangerous assumption to be fair) would be that it was a friendly jibe at Baldric re not being a retired (forum) troll, given his Peso-esque attention-trolling on this afterlife thread. I wonder what we would do without you to make sure such nuanced thoughts get clearly spelled out for everyone.

More on point, I think this is interesting, and I've tried highly conceptual chars before as a sort of thought experiment to play around with ideas I'd never in a million years act out in real life. They've just never lasted from a gameplay point of view beyond my losing interest in the experiement. It sounds like this is kind of what you did, a naturally racist elf who's in favor of truly unselfish love being an interesting study in contradiction. I'm impressed that you were able to keep yourself interested in him long enough to delete over RL constraints rather than in-game interest.

I was curious if this character was a hoarder. I had assumed as much, but when I saw it was a character of Johnix, I made sure to defensively word my post because I had no memory of him being that kind of player. I'm glad to find out that he was not a hoarder and that my vague memory was misleading.

I read that as Retired [player, active] Troll.

That is how I intended it, though I realize now that it is ambiguous. I meant that I am a retired player who now just trolls.

I'm glad we could work together to solve that mystery.

Ghanima was extremely concerned about Nweltheron, and she wanted desperately to see him let go of his prejudices.

As a player, though, I absolutely loved Nweltheron's concept, and it was really neat to see a lightie devoting himself to compassion when he had prejudices that conflicted with the faith. It was always an interesting experience for me, being around him. Unfortunately, I never ended up meeting him on my other characters, although I would've liked to.
