Post subject:  FLAVIAN DRUSUS SECUNDUS
He is a tall, dark older man with fine olive skin and classic Imperial facial structure. High-cheekbones and a square chin, define a strong face with a short-cut hair and beard, once black, now white. He has a generous mouth below a thin straight nose and dark eyes. His body has little fat with muscular arms on broad shoulders. His legs are long and he moves with the poise of a lion. His wrists and arms are thick and muscular from constant excercise. The man's expression is thoughtful with, perhaps, a speculative look in his shadowed eyes under dense white eyebrows. He may have been the son of a noble family turned career soldier, battle hardened. There is a small scar on his chest over his heart, shaped like spider over a crescent moon ...

Flavian was my favorite character to date. I had a ball everytime I played him. Swashies are awesome. He was a lover of women...and women loved him, which led to problems with the Council which he joined as a young boy. He finally met his wife in late middle age and had two children, a son and a daughter with Gienah Und'Noquana,, the High Priestess of Suffering.

You say to Valeticia 'Pray to your Lord. Tell him I am ready to leave this plane'
You tell Zellidon 'Farewell, old friend.'
Someone replies 'Flavian..'
Someone replies 'Not you as well?'
You reply to someone 'Give the Council plenty of trouble for me, eh?'
A distant thunderous sound approaches and the air is heavy with static charge.
You reply to someone 'yes. I am old.'
You drop to your knees.
Valeticia begins to pray.
You reply to someone 'Lord War comes for me now'
Valeticia drops to her knees.
Someone replies 'You are the last connection I've had to Sereona..'
You reply to someone 'Ahhh...'
A deep ache is felt as your surroundings are filled with a hazy fog of shadows.
You say 'Oh Lord, I served you all my life.'
Flavian's tears begin to roll down the old man's cheeks
The torches in the temple seem to grow, burning darker and heating up!
Valeticia says 'I believe He will answer your prayers this day.'
You say to Valeticia 'Farewell priestess. I am ready for His touch'
You hear a drum beat from the distance.
Flavian bows his head and becomes still
The drums are soon joined by the sound of thousands of marching feet, in step.
The sound becomes thunderous and fills the cathedral!
Flavian is a proud and lonely sight as he kneels, awaiting his Lord
A thousand battlecries roll over you!
Flavian touches his fiery sword.
You yell 'All serve the Lord of Battle!'
And in unison the sound halts, as if upon command.
You exclaim 'My Lord!'
The shadows close in about you.
Flavian gasps as a sudeden pain throbs in his chest
A flaming axe arrives in the room.
A flaming axe chops at your right arm, cutting a painful wound across it!
Your right arm goes NUMB!
A flaming axe chops your stomach, cutting a deep gash.
A flaming axe chops your right arm, tearing flesh as if it were butter!
A flaming axe chops at your left arm, cutting a painful wound across it!
Overall, a flaming axe is in excellent condition.
A flaming axe arrives in the room.
A flaming axe chops at your head, causing a small but painful wound.
A flaming axe gets a wild look in its eyes.
A flaming axe chops your stomach. Boy does BLOOD look red!
A flaming axe chops your mouth, knocking out a few of your teeth!
A flaming axe chops at your left leg, tearing open a bleeding wound!
A flaming axe chops at your chest, causing a deep gash.
A flaming axe chops your jaw, breaking it with a loud *SNAP*
You sure are BLEEDING!
A flaming axe's head butt DISEMBOWELS you!
You sure are BLEEDING!
Suddenly everything goes dark!
You have been KILLED!!

Anyone else think it's pretty tight to go out getting headbutted by a flaming axe?

Good old Flavian. This isn't meant as a slight to the player, but it was well known that Flavian died pretty much every time anyone took him anywhere. I hope we taught you some fun things and that I didn't annoy you that much.

Oh man, Flavian. Hagrel had an unconditional hatred for the empire, so I never really got to interact with you past "oh, it's you again; time to die, sword man," but I always kind of wanted too. I was always amazed that you could get beaten like an egg and just come back smiling the next day, never complaining or losing it, and always maintaining what looked to me like very well-done RP. Every time I lost everything and just wanted to throw the computer across the room and start yelling at inanimate objects, I remembered "you know what? I've pulled off cheaper ganks on Flavian, and he never complained." You were always really gracious, really courteous, and for some damn reason you were really patient too. I hope you learned as much from all your deaths as I did from all of mine. It was really fun playing against you, and I mean it when I say you were the one I actually tried to emulate the most as a player.

Flavian was always fun to mimic and talk to girls with!

Oh, he was fun to kill too! :)

All around, I say you learned alot from playing him, as your opponent most of the time!

Flavian was a really good guy, often the only darkie priest around during some of my character's lifetimes.

Flavian was fun, and you definitely seemed to improve over the course of playing him. Hope you make another and enjoy. :)
