Shattered Kingdoms

Queltakahn was more of a rural griffon who was born in zhenshi to a family that migrated to the mountains there from Owyran. Queltakahn wanted to live a quiet life but was made aware of certain truths at an early age which shaped his future significantly. He later joined the Talon to help against myriad attacks that were tearing the city to its very foundation, despite the fact that he never truly wanted to be a guard. Between Qahz, Reinald and the faith of Zavijah Queltakahn had all the guidance he needed. After successfully serving the Talon for ten years and making Zhenshi a safer place Queltakahn decided to resign from his position and return to the life he always wanted.

I started Queltakahn as a test char and got involved more than I had initially hoped. I wanted to have him gradually become wiser in the faith of Zavijah instead of just being wise from birth. He was starting to become exactly what the faith wanted of him but without PK and adventure I lost interest. Thanks to all his friends and enemies for making it a fun time.

His str/ dex/ con/ hp/ mr were all max naturally. After playing a MR barb I have to say I enjoyed it, despite the double-edged nature of the class.

I'm not sure you had to stop PKing, or why you felt you were all out of adventures with Quel...

I thought he had just reached a new chapter of his life, in which there would be more reasoning
on the front end of his actions. While I sometimes wanted to tug Quel's feathers out to try and
knock some sense into him, there always seemed a greater hope and spirit to the character, and
I thought that had some significant staying strength. Also, I was hoping for more time to take the
griffon adventuring.

Alas.. the RP and the character will be missed.

Are you rolling anything else other than Queltakahn? I liked Queltakahn.

I liked Queltakahn, though he certainly liked to jump to conclusions. I guess you just didn't enjoy the RP transformation your character was going through. I was looking forward to it, personally.

I got really tired of this character being the epitome of a spam-dying MR griffarb who doesn't care when he loses.

Bah, I can't help but feel a little responsible for some of these issues.

I am dissapointed that you felt you had to delete. Hope you have better luck with a different character.

Queltakahn was a great ally and an awesome Talon over all. Sometimes he couldn't be contained but he was always thoughtful and ready to consider a different opinion as long as it came from people he trusted. It's a shame to see him go, I'm sure there were tons of other things you could have done with that character and having a dedicated griffbarb around is always nice even if not in the Talons.
