While this may appear at a glance to be a rage delete, please allow me to assure you that it is not. I have been roleplaying Iliphalia's imminent death for probably three months now. Earlier today, it was arranged that she would have one final trip to the River and she was made unresurrectable. However, that last trip to Achernar's place was hurried along before the roleplay I had planned for her. While I'm not bitter about it, I wish that more consideration had gone into this interaction than "OMG ELF KILL IT!" Iliphalia was not at war with anyone in the group that this person was in, and she was wearing cloth -- had zero loot or coins to covet. For all intents and purposes, Iliphalia is age dead. She can't be brought back, but she will probably be fairly active as a ghost.


The people who I have to thank with this character are so many in number I am not even going to attempt it. From my first days in the Guardians and the Meissan faith to my last days as the "Crone of Sith'a'Niel," there have been so many people with whom I've experienced positive and fulfilling interactions, I just have to stand back and say thank you to everyone.

I loved Iliphalia as Illistial. I thought she was wonderful. I never had much to do with her after that. Except for that last bit in the afterlife there. I am sorry to see her go. She brings back good memories of the birchbows and friends.

Savlaraen had been waiting patiently for this day, but is saddened as well. It was not how he wanted to be reunited with her. It was because of her that he stopped being so much of a recluse and started talking to people. He promised her forever, and now can start working on it.

Iliphalia was a good char, with lots of depth through the various stages of her life. Interacted with her on a few chars, as both a friendly, and adversary, and a friendly adversary. Well played all around, and strongly executed concept.

Well after the interaction we had last night, I knew this was coming though I didn't quite expect it this soon. I have known you will a couple of my characters and you were always amazing. I probably knew you best with Eiltria, though she was not the only one who was touched by your Compassion. I wish you best of luck in your future!

Iliphalia was my character's first mentor, his one true love and a trustworthy companion for many years. The RP moments that we shared were always very pleasing and also some of the most exciting PVE moments ever. My only regret was not being able to fulfil an IC promise due to RL issues. I know I promised a long post but I do not have much to share regarding my experiences with this character in this medium.
