I logged this in game however it seemed odd. I know my murder only happened once yet it is reported twice on the persons outlaw poster. The more I think about it the more I think it has to do with ranged combat and death. That my report of my death happened in my room. Where a random NPC could have reported the murder from the room of the attacker. |

This bug has been around a while, and I think you are right that it has to do with ranged combat. My first pvp death in this game was when ardith shot my sorc up with an xbow from a room away and he wound up being wanted for 7 counts of killing me. That was like 5 years ago. |
