I guess this is a survey, just curious. I had been checking through the links at the website, finding several of the clients were no longer available. I'm using Cmud 3.34 again, still? There's a few options out there if you were going to invite a friend to play a mud with you. Anyway, I have a little project I'm working on, maybe I'll try out all the (Windows) options available to me. I have used, or at least tried recently:

Putty
Cmud
Mudlet
MUSHclient

and a few other telnet clients that really don't fit the bill.

I tried a couple on my iphone but it was terrible.

I always liked simpleMU, because it is as the name implies, simple. It might not have all the features other clients have, but I never used most features myself other than an autoconnect when I was actively playing.

Also, I have no idea if it works on tablets / mobile devices.

I loved tintin++, and I still use it on mobile. I basically installed termux --> loaded tintin++ in there --> use that when I'm on mobile (android).

I moved to mudlet for a more supported/standardized system and to set up some easy updating of scripts. I lost steam halfway through moving my tt+ scripts over and so my scripts are a half-cooked mess. I may end up going back to tintin++ because the mapper is so hassle-free comparatively.

I wish there was a good android MUD client, but I'm not certain there is.
