Shattered Kingdoms

Last Note:
I've had alot of fun with this character. Originally I decided to make Bain to do Dreamscape and delete right after Ephialtus died, but things didn't go as planned. I started to playing SK again thinking this would be my last time playing if I ever decide to quit. I enjoyed RP'ing with everyone as I attempted to greet everyone and make friends with whoever I met. Met alot of interesting people and surprised to see some people that I once played with 6 years ago. The most amusing part about playing Bain was that he played both sides perfectly balanced even when he was forced to choose sides.... he chose none. I would like to thank all the players of SK that made SK a wonderful experience to me. I know 100% sure I wont be coming back. Its about time I got a job and do some programming since I just graduated from school.

Bain's Story:
Bain was a sprite that grew up in Teron abandoned to the ophanage until he came of age and found the gift of the spirits. Bain started off in the Black Rose and was welcomed by Zellidon and the rest of the Black Rose. Despite being invited into the Harlequin, Bain had other intentions in mind as he joined the Midnight Council to be a spy for the Black Rose. From there he took a comfortable positions in the Council doing as he pleased as he was more of an errand boy for the Council. It was then that Etemtae appointed him to be an ambassador to the Keepers, realizing that he was cast off to the land of Taslamar only to become a spy for the Midnight Council, he went ahead to restore Taslamar to it's former glory by assigning a new Justiciar and reforming Keepers. Unable to do much else, he grew bored and played around with the guards of Exile and was tarnished from the Keepers. Displeased by the fact the he was tarnished from the Keepers, he decided to leave the Pantheon ashamed of his misdeed with the Keepers. Bain felt he accomplished enough in life and followed in the footsteps of his Elder, Etemtae, to the spirit world.

It was rather obvious that you were a spy for the harlequins OOC but I decided I would just remain oblivious

Bain was fun to be around with and I was happy to assign him as an ambassador to Taslamar despite knowing (OOCly) that I was strengthening the harlequins as well as MC by doing so (still I would not convey OOC knowledge IC). I was rather hoping that you'd make Taslamar great for the Emperor.

I would wish you rolled another though RL do comed first.

I remember someone, oh yeah, Mr. Lightbringer, that said write your own story in SK. You did. You wanted Taslamar for the MC. It was perfect. A banner above Exile, pardons for the MC, etc etc. Wonderful story, but it didn't happen in SK. Why? Oh, other people have their story too.

All of my characters fit into some story I'd like to show in SK, but they are far to brilliant for me to do them without getting 75% of the pbase in on it OOCly. I would be thwarted left and right, and as soon as I can just reach out and touch the moon, someone gos and blows it up. Just like Bain.

Bain was great. I remember comparing items with him on Shirotaka. He even gave me a fun item and I used that baby a lot. The oldest creature that I found were the dark-skinned demons at 1534 years old. Didn't look everywhere. I would go in search of old creatures and report back to Bain. It was really fun interacting with him, but alas, get a job.

Well, I hope you atleast log on YIM every so often. I always enjoyed running around with you when I first started SK and I think we learned a great deal about the game together. I remember when you first quit SK after Bicji, for several years after that everyone from the old "clique" always wondered what happened to you and spoke fondly of you frequently. You're probably the only player outside of Jake and Orac that I still talk to from back then that I talk to now so I hope you do come back but I know from our conversations on YIM you probably won't ever make that happen.

I enjoyed my fail interdiction in nerina which caused you to spam brandish the chain lightning staff. Was amazing

Wow, I had no idea Bain had so much depth. Alis liked Bain at first but he quickly became more annoying in her eyes, even for a Sprite. Always attacking her mare and then that time he kept putting Lathron and her mare to sleep in Teron, she decided to just take the opportunity to kill him since she had it and pay him back for all the voodoos in one swift blow.

Good luck with your next. As annoying as Bain could be, he did create some interesting things in return.
