Shattered Kingdoms

Before you stands a fearsome male giant. His fifteen foot frame towers
above you, demanding your attention. Every inch of this savage monstrosity
is covered in thick cords of muscle, straining against a hard, blue-tinted,
leathery skin. Coarse, white hair trails down to the bottom of his shoulder
blades. Two braids are formed just above his temples, coming to rest
lightly upon his massive chest. A thick white scar connects the corner of
his left eye to his jaw line, marring the perfection of his beard. As you
meet his gaze, you are struck by the color of his eyes, a dull red, like
dried blood. They seem devoid of life but the longer your gaze remains
locked, the brighter they become, a brilliant blood red that begins to make
you quiver in fear. The wicked grin on his face speaks of the pleasure your
death will bring. Perhaps it is time you take your leave before things get
out of hand.

(Ivan's back story starts within the deep mountains of the Wastes. He was the new Chieftain of his tribe. Life was good, prosperous and all the tribal raids had been successful in his short reign. However, mid-way through the second year of his rule, a deep and terrible darkness descended upon the tribe in the dead of night. Cries of horror and death could be heard for miles around, carried upon the echo of the very cliffs in which they called home. Ivan was the sole survivor of that terrible tragedy. Vaguely, he recalls fumbling about the tundra in a daze, mortally wounded. Only the unforgiving cold slowed his bleeding enough to allow him a chance at life, though much longer and that too would claim him. The lone remembrance of many arms dragging him across the ground and depositing him onto the bed of a trailer lingers as he awakens to find himself within the pit of darkness called the Gauntlet. This pit is the starting point in which Ivan's eyes are open to the vastness of the wider world to which he had been oblivious. It is at this point that Ivan developed a hunger for knowledge. Tainted by the darkness that touched him that fateful night, he struggled to find his new identity, which inevitably led him down the path of evil.)

Ivan never had the opportunity to become a leader within the Black Hand, mainly due to poor timing on inactivity, which allowed Solomon to take the leadership position that Ivan was all but guaranteed. (If I knew my arse from a hole in the ground back then, I would have taken the same steps to become the warlord that Malsavir took.. however, I had no idea at all that I could request such a position at the time.)
Ivan took over Weller Bloodlust's leadership within the Religion of Dabi. With all the warring and battling, there was not much time for me to truly develop the Religion to my likeness but the concept of Dabi truly fit with how I wished to play Ivan. My short comings with Ivan is that I never truly showed enough of the Hatred that he was filled with. That, and I never managed to get around to unleashing the Diabolical alignment in the way I had wished. My plan was to put up a front (So I could learn to play SK) then stab a few backs etc etc. In my time of playing, the 'darkside' never really grew to have enough power for me to be very treacherous as we were constantly trying to keep the skin on our backs.

I enjoyed playing SK for the time I was able to. Perhaps I'll find some time here and there to play in the future. It was pretty cool learning something new and meeting many different peeps. A special thanks goes out to Jreid for all the help he gave me. J taught me all the small things that most take for grated and without his help, I probably wouldn't have developed quite as quickly as I did. Joe, it was great having you as a friend and ally, I'm glad J introduced us. Truly, there are many of you out there that have contributed to my learning and experience, whether it was directly given or not.
Malsavir, Solomon, Lyeia, Mroaka (Jesus.. I horribly misspelled his name.. had to fix it, great guy to play with and learn from), Araceli (I know everyone seems to hate ardith, but he was fun as heck to pk with), Nyxia and many others were great allies. Izzaghar and Irition hold a special place for Ivan... as they constantly equipped him with armor and weapons. I appreciate all the help that was given from everyone, thank you all. (As for Kin.. I felt he was one of the best RP players in the game. He was very consistent with pretty much everything he did. I know you all hate on him for his warlock complaining, but get over it... no reason to run him out of the game... all it will do is hurt SK. Thanks for being true to Mephister, kin and thanks for the friendship.) Peso... I'll probably never forget the time you were talking mad smack to Ivan and Keegan while we were preparing to return and tear you to pieces. I have to give you props, I didn't expect to gain enlightenment from you for full looting your [REDACTED]! lol Ghavorian certain had an impact on me.. certainly not a player I wanted to go head to head against, considering that damned HoL thing you had going for you. *grin*

Anyway, take it easy guys, hopefully I can join you all again soon. (<3 to the staff, keep rockin guys and I hope to see appraisal shops implemented before my return!! ^_^)

Oh I forgot to mention my enjoyment of unending smack talk between fluffs and I. Reminded me of my relationship with my brother... anything goes and nothing is taken personal. :p

Alshain, without you taking time out of your schedule to accept my friendly invitation to see some of the things I missed about MM in the very beginning, I'm not sure if I would have been inspired to give SK a deeper look. I appreciate it. Too bad I couldn't convince you to play around with my Zynor ideas. As for Dabi, thanks for giving me the chance to lead your following and the friendly conversations. I would have liked to have made a bigger impression in that regard, perhaps another time, eh?

Arkex met Ivan toward his end. I remember getting pissed at you cuz Wudan stole my corpse after we dueled. lol I wish i would have seen you around more often. We could have used the muscle. But I'm glad you were able to put in the time you did.
