I think Ivan killed him once in an Exile raid. He used a fear wand to screw us up, all but three of us quaffed immediately. He and Malsavir were the only ones killed in that battle and team darkie had to bail on that one. But yeah, I was impressed with patri's ability to play a sorc in pvp, it definitely showed me how powerful someone with the right knowledge could make a sorc. Good character, good player. This is an odd post because historically (at least since I started playing), sorc has been the strongest class in the game.

It still is (in fact, with the new enchant changes, I think sorc is more dominant than ever, both due to enchant options for the sorc himself and increased vulnerability to spells in others). Just, as always, takes a little more thought and finesse than bash.

Sorry balric, true newb here. It opened my eyes because Aodh was the first sorc to really play a strong, aggressive sorc in my experience. Keep in mind I've barely tapped SK, perfecting my barbarian giants. ;)

The real answer is that the p-base isn't really large enough for there to be an appreciable force on one side without there being a noticeable lack on the other.

Nowai, grey aura adds a whole other layer of depth to this game. The scales are always tipped to one side or the other, this isn't anything new, so we just have to deal.

On topic, though, I liked what I saw of Aodh and wanted to see more, but I never really got the opportunity to. It will be interesting to see what you come out with next.
