I think I have found respect for Syn, which was a good thing, since I wasn't so keen on her when I played before.

Elsewhere I have seen little interesting RP between enemies, and a continuation of the brutal, harsh tactics of PvP, including full loots on people never previously met, butchering corpses to stop raises and all sorts of other things that leave me sickened.

I want to play a game where the players have mutual respect and treat each other kindly within the bounds of RP. That's not this game.

You do realize, there was a priest on, and law NPCs that can rez, right?

It isn't about life, it's about death.

I don't really play much for the same reasons: the game allows too much trolling for a population of its size. Perhaps the schoolyear will improve the situation.

Basically, on SK, you RP with your buddies, and PK your enemies.

Where RP and PK collide, or something, right?

I only got to interact with you once as Antiira, but I thought it was fun. I came through a gate where supposedly you and Lacima were fighting, but instead I came through and instead of continuing to fight you both just kind of sat there. It seemed so strange. Then I petrified you both.

I'm sorry if I contributed to your reasons for disliking the game (I don't think I did) but I do try to maintain a strong level of courtesy in PvP, hence why I depetrified you both after the fact.

Loumak was ready to fight alongside her, but never got the chance...my bad. Lot of courage you had, from what I've seen. Makes for a good pally of Alshain.

You can Blame Veret+Gliknok for there gank on this character that lead to deletion. They have no respect for other players oocly and are honestly two of the biggest [REDACTED] bags this game has ever seen.

I know that you're very wrong at least as far as Veret is concerned.

Gliknok PKed me once for some pathetic reason. When I RPed with him about it, he then had his guards resurrect me and led me to my buried body with all my belongings still there. I have no idea who the player is, so it's not like we are RL friends and chat. I don't even have that much interaction with him inside the game. But I felt the need to defend him, just a little bit, to say, yeah, maybe he's a jerk, but it's certainly not something he is 100% of the time.

I just don't think it's fair to call out certain characters - if they really are harassing you, you should take it up with an IMM. I've felt harassed by certain characters - heck, certain players - so I know where the frustration is coming from. I am sorry you felt the need to delete over it, and I agree that it does seem like there's a lot of trolling and the same players always create together and gang up on others.

Perhaps the more productive thing to do is to figure out how we can stop it in the big picture sense, and take personal, one-time complaints to the IMMs, who I have generally found to be helpful (though albeit a bit slow in response at times.)

I'd be all about loot limits, just let people loot one or two items off a fallen corpse, find ways around butchering and skinning.

*shrug*

Loot/junk I think count for the #1 reason of rage deletions in the game for years. Is it a problem that needs to be addressed though?
