MC hellion of Algorab is an extremely challenging build to play if you are not good at PvP. That combination of class, religion, and faction is going to require you to talk a lot of smack, and then back it up. The more you fail to back it up, the more annoyed people are going to become and call you out for it. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that hellion just isn't that powerful of a class (they're decent support and can solo certain opponents, but they require finesse and skill to be successful in PvP). The same thing happened to Kura. A lot of people disliked that character (despite wonderful emotes) because her badass hellion persona wasn't backed up by her PvP skills.

Brilliant RP can win the day for you, but only if that brilliant RP involved getting deadly people to be loyal to you. To anyone considering playing a politically involved hellion, I would strongly suggest you place emphasis on winning allies to your cause because it's probably the only way you will back up the tough guy persona that's kind of required for the class.

To anyone considering playing a politically involved Hellion, I'd strongly recommend making a politically involved mercenary instead.
I actually did learn a lot on how to do better with Hellions from this character; but it didn't matter. It never does in the end.
